(Special Olympics
Georgia relies on support from individuals, organizations,
corporations, foundations, Board members, Honorary Board members
and money raised through special events and projects. Your
donation is made through a secure site.)
Here are ways your
donations could be used:
-
$35 could provide meals for the weekend at one of the State Games
for one athlete;
-
$100 could provide sports rules and training for four volunteer
coaches; and
-
$200 would enable one athlete to train for a year.
Here's what Special
Olympics Georgia does:
Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round training and athletic
competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and
adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing
opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage,
experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills
and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics
athletes and the community.
