State Master's Bowling
Tournament

Date: July 14-16 , 2006
The Master's Bowling Tournament features Special Olympics athletes
aged 22 and over, showcasing their talents at the Southeast's
largest bowling alley.
Over 1000 participants
from around the state compete in
traditional and unified bowling at AMF Peach Lanes in Columbus.
This event is free and open to the public, so plan to
come out and support the athletes.
Tentative General Schedule
Saturday
8
a.m.-1 p.m. Agencies register at bowling center.
8:00 a.m. Morning round bowlers will
assemble at lanes.
9:30 a.m. Opening
Ceremony at bowling center.
Morning round bowlers begin competition.
Awards presented at end of round.
3-5 p.m. Agencies check in at assigned hotels.
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. Afternoon round bowlers will assemble at lanes.

p.m. Opening ceremony at
bowling center.
Afternoon round bowlers begin competition.
Awards will be presented at end of round.

p.m.-7 p.m. athlete/coach dinner at Columbus State
University (CSU).

p.m.-9 p.m. Victory dance and activities at Lumpkin Centerat CSU.

Directions
From the North:
I-185 South to Exit 10.
Take Exit 10 going west towards Phoenix City.
Exit on Bradley Park Drive East.
Peach Bowl Lanes is on the right.
From the South:
I-185 North to Exit 8.
Head west (make a left turn) on Airport Thruway.
Make a right turn on Whitesville Road.
Follow Whitesville across Veteran's Parkway.
Make a left on Bradley Park Drive.
Peach Bowl Lanes is on the left.
