Walk, Run, Skate, Bike in the U.S. 10K and Volunteer

Sign up to walk, skate, run or volunteer for SOGA's newest benefit happening Sept. 1-3. Special Olympics Georgia was selected as a beneficiary for the 2007 U.S. 10K Classic. Our organization will receive funds for every racer and volunteer that signs up and designates Special Olympics as their charity or civic group. We hope to recruit at least 2,000 runners and at least 500 volunteers. Click here for more information about running in the race . When you sign up online, be sure to indicate you're running for Special Olympics Georgia when you're prompted in the drop down menu. Hundreds of volunteers will also be needed throughout the race where thousands of runners and walkers are working to raise money for Special Olympics Georgia athletes. Host a Fundraising Event – your organization can plan and implement a fundraiser to benefit SOGA.  Some examples of events are golf tournaments, dinners, or runs.  The staff at Special Olympics can provide ideas and some assistance with your event.
