Join Georgia’s army of truck drivers as law enforcement officers
escort them through Marietta, Ga. The World’s Largest Truck Convoy
is happening in 34 States and 4 Canadian Providences and is
recognized as the Guinness World Records World’s Largest Truck
Convoy across the nation to raise money for Special Olympics
athletes and change attitudes about people with intellectual
disabilities.
Throughout the day there will be live music, raffle prizes and
Special Olympic Georgia athletes on hand. Come out early and enjoy
the music, food, and truckers. Come explore and see a big rig up
close! Talk to the men and women who drive them everyday and talk
with the athletes who we are all doing this for!
Cost:
The cost to participate or sponsor a truck begins at $100. Various
sponsorship opportunities are available for your company.

Friday, Sept. 14, 2007
- 7 p.m.- 11 p.m. Pre-registration, cook-out and
entertainment
(Trucks can arrive at 7 p.m. and spend the night. Enjoy a cookout
and a movie at dark.))
Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007
- 7 a.m. Registration
- 9 a.m.
Bidding for lead and tail trucks begins
- 10 a.m.
Convoy begins
- 11:30 a.m.
Convoy after-party and entertainment
(Food, music from John Martin and the Southern Drive Band, raffle
prizes and awards.)
