Join Georgia’s army of truck drivers as law enforcement officers escort them through Marietta, Ga. The World’s Largest Truck Convoy is happening in 34 States and 4 Canadian Providences and is recognized as the Guinness World Records World’s Largest Truck Convoy across the nation to raise money for Special Olympics athletes and change attitudes about people with intellectual disabilities.



Throughout the day there will be live music, raffle prizes and Special Olympic Georgia athletes on hand. Come out early and enjoy the music, food, and truckers. Come explore and see a big rig up close! Talk to the men and women who drive them everyday and talk with the athletes who we are all doing this for!

7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Pre-registration, cook-out and entertainment
8 p.m. – 10 p.m. Leland Martin concert

*Trucks can arrive at 7pm and are invited to spend the night.

Saturday, September 20, 2008

7 a.m.: Registration & Pancake Breakfast
9 a.m.: Bidding for lead and tail trucks begins
10 a.m.: Convoy begins
11:30 a.m.: Convoy after-party and entertainment
(Food, live music, raffle prizes and awards.)
