VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH |

|

Volunteer of the Month -
Kathy Morreira
Kathy Morreira is an amazing volunteer whose dedication and hard work on the
Special Olympics Comprehensive Resource Guide was essential and extremely
helpful to the entire Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) staff. Kathy, of
Alpharetta, was steadfast and stayed with the project until it was
completed, which is quite an accomplishment considering how big the project was.
With this new guide, agencies
participating in Special Olympics have a complete guide of everything to steps
to competition, volunteer profiles, how to start a program, competition rules
and scratch sheets.
Special Olympics Georgia would like to offer a huge thank you to such an amazing
and talented volunteer. Kathy dedicated several week to a detailed project and
her commitment, talent and knowledge helped to make the final project very
successful.
Kathy is employed a Global Care Inc,
in Alpharetta and she serves as the “Charity Coordinator” of her company. She
put her desire and inspiration into action for SOGA and we are grateful for
her volunteer efforts. Way to go Kathy!
Do you know someone who should be Volunteer of the Month? Simply send the person's contact information (name, email address, mailing address, and phone number) and a brief paragraph explaining why you think they should win to:
