Sponsor of the month

Commitment, Spirit, Inspiration, Participation, Connection. These are just a few of the elements that are essential to AutoTrader.com and their corporate mission. They truly are an organization, better yet a family, that works together to make a difference, and we at Special Olympics Georgia are extremely grateful for their support.
For the past five years, AutoTrader.com has been one of our essential elements. They sponsor both our State Indoor Winter Games and our State Summer Games. Their support extends beyond a financial donation. AutoTrader.com is a partner that strives to create an impact. It is not only their staff, but also their families and friends that show up with enthusiasm, ready to lend a hand in any and every way possible. They are the ones on the sidelines cheering on our athletes, giving them the words of encouragement that provide our Olympians with a sense of accomplishment and acceptance. They are the ones that are there to graciously accept the hugs that athletes offer when they want someone to share in their joy.
AutoTrader.com is a leader of change. That is the best way to summarize the impact they make on Special Olympics Georgia year-after-year. We are so grateful to be part of their movement, and we are honored to have their support. Thank you AutoTrader.com!

   VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

Volunteer of the Month -Jeff Neumeyer

It's hard to say what is Jeff Neumeyer's favorite sport.
Because he is actively involved in so many sports Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) offers. He is a Special K’s basketball coach during the winter months and a swimming couch for  State Summer Games.
And there's bocce ball. Jeff’s influence with Special Olympics Young Leaders’ (S.O.Y.L.) Boccefest is undeniable. This year instead of attending Boccefest, he welcomed family into to town for his first child’s christening. Although Jeff could not attend, over half of the teams were his friends and co-workers. He also serves as a committee member for the Annual Bob Busse Golf Classic.
Jeff constantly demonstrates his leadership and willingness to dedicate so much of his time to help SOGA’s mission in training children and adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as raising funds to support the mission. So, congrats Jeff! You are May’s Volunteer of the month. Everyone at SOGA  thanks you for all you do!
