Sponsor of the month

Special Olympics Georgia is proud to welcome its newest sponsor, French Wolf & Farr (“FWF”). FWF provides investment management and wealth advisory services to affluent individuals and families and serves as an outsourced chief investment officer for foundations and endowments. As an employee-owned firm without any connection to a bank or securities dealer, FWF offers independent advice and counsel customized to fit each client’s particular needs.

The principals of the firm, Wes French, Mike Wolf and Dorsey Farr, have demonstrated a commitment to the communities where they do business by donating a portion of their profits and personal time to local charities and service organizations. FWF is the sponsor for the upcoming “A Taste of Inspiration” wine tasting fundraiser on October 24th. We here at Special Olympics Georgia are grateful to partner with FWF and deeply appreciate their support. For more information on FWF, please visit their website at www.frenchwolffarr.com.

   VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

Volunteer of the Month -Margueritte Jackson

The 10th Annual Open Sailing Regatta, Sail for Champions, was held on the weekend of September 11th – 13th. The event, hosted by Southern Sailing Club of Lake Lanier, is a three day event. Although this year’s regatta was only Margueritte Jackson’s second year participating, her willingness to volunteer proved very beneficial. Margueritte volunteered her time each day of the event and even lead a group of volunteers who washed boats Saturday to help raise additional money for Special Olympics. She also was very instrumental in catering the  event.

Thank you so much Margueritte for all of your hard work and dedication to Special Olympics Georgia! We are proud to honor you as October’s Volunteer of the Month and look forward to your participation in the future!

Congratulations to you on being the October Volunteer of the Month.
