5K Foam Fest benefiting Special Olympics Georgia!

We need 185 volunteers  during the week of  5K Foam Fest Saturday, March 16 at Atlanta Motor Speedway to help raise at least $8,000 and up to $12,000 for Special Olympics Georgia. For each hour worked, Special Olympics Georgia gets a $10 donation from Foam Fest. So you’ll be donating your time and in a way– money to support Special Olympics Georgia athletes.

Just fill out this form and fax it to Danny Knight at (404) 745-0550 or email it to Danny.Knight@SpecialOlympicsGA.org. (Do not submit applications through the 5K Web site because we want to keep track of our volunteer numbers.)

Here are the volunteer hours available at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for Foam Fest:

March 16 (Day most needed):
30-40 people for each day of the event from either 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (shift 1) or 11:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. (shift 2)

The 5k Foam Fest is the newest and craziest race to hit the nation! Smiling and running don’t usually go hand in hand but the 5K Foam Fest is an amazing mix of foam, mud and obstacles thus making fitness fun.  The 5k Foam Fest is a fun and exciting challenge for the experienced and beginner runners alike.
