CLASSIC CADILLAC OF ATLANTA DEDICATES MONTH OF DECEMBER TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITY Classic Cadillac and Special Olympics Georgia team up for a “Special Olympics Month” at Classic Cadillac Dealership
Atlanta, GA (November 10, 2010) – Classic Cadillac of Atlanta is giving back to the community in a unique way by dedicating the entire month of December to Special Olympics Georgia. By partnering with Special Olympics, a non-profit organization, Classic Cadillac customers will have the opportunity to aide in efforts to raise money and awareness of the Special Olympics whose focus is to bring people with intellectual disabilities into the larger society under conditions whereby they are accepted. “Special Olympics Month” at Classic Cadillac will kick-off December 1st where customers can donate directly to Special Olympics GA and where their donations can be matched dollar-for-dollar!
From December 1st through December 31st, Classic Cadillac will be accepting donations in transaction of dealership services. Don’t have a Cadillac but want to support the cause? Well, throughout the month of December, Classic Cadillac is offering oil changes on any car make and model. Donations will be accepted at the Classic Cadillac dealership on 7700 Roswell Rd. They will match donations “dollar-for-dollar” for up to $100, and the grand total of funds raised will be revealed during a check presentation at a Special Olympics Georgia future event.
Ranked number 1 as the largest volume Cadillac dealership in Georgia, Classic Cadillac prides themselves on their community outreach and involvement. Owner, Mike Domenicone stated, “We are happy to partner up with such a motivational and giving charity such as Special Olympics Georgia. Special Olympics is a wonderful charity that I want to highlight and raise as much money as possible in the month of December, because it is so important to give back to your community.”
Founded in 1970, Special Olympics Georgia’s mission is to provide year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
