Special Olympics Georgia State Horse Show in Perry Aug. 19-21
Atlanta Aug 12 – Nearly 300 athletes will participate in the most unique state competition Aug. 19-21: The State Horse Show in Perry.
Athletes will compete to be the top equestrian in showmanship, dressage, English and western riding, and riding trails at Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry.
The games are free and open to the public. Competition and awards continue throughout the weekend. Opening Ceremony will be held Friday at 7:30 at Reaves Arena with the theme “Super Heroes.” The presenting sponsor of the 2011 State Horse Show is The Boeing Company. All events are free and open to the public.
