State Games Sponsorships

Special Olympics Georgia hosts five annual state competitions. Your sponsorship of a state game will help cover expenses associated with lodging, meals, sports equipment, transportation, facility rental, and awards/medals for that particular competition.

Indoor Winter Games
Date:  January 20-22, 2012
Location:  Cobb County/Marietta, Georgia
Description:  More than 1,700 athletes from around the state compete in basketball, floor hockey, artistic gymnastics, bowling, ice skating, powerlifting and roller skating.

Summer Games
Date:  May 18-20, 2012
Location:  Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia
Description:  More than 1,700 athletes from around the state compete in aquatics, athletics,
volleyball, tennis, soccer, gymnastics, badminton and table tennis.

Masters Bowling Tournament
Date:  Aug. 24-26, 2012
Location:  Warner Robins, Georgia
Description:  More than 900 adult athletes from around the state compete in traditional
and unified bowling.

Horse Show
Date:  Aug. 24-26, 2012
Location:  Perry, Georgia
Description:  More than 150 athletes from around the state compete in various equestrian events such as
dressage, showmanship, walking trail, and English and Western style riding.

Description:  More than 1,300 athletes from around the state compete in softball, bocce, cycling, long
