In addition, the following Special Events all provide unique and beneficial Sponsorship Opportunities:

• The Law Enforcement Torch Run: SOGA’s largest annual fundraiser is the Law Enforcement Torch Run. More than 1,500 officers, representing all levels of law enforcement, raise funds and compete for the honor of carrying the torch in the statewide Torch Run that precedes the Summer Games Opening Ceremony. The Torch Run also relies on sponsors to make the flame brighter!
  
   

• Host a Fundraising Event – your organization can plan and implement a fundraiser to benefit SOGA.  Some examples of events are golf tournaments, dinners, or runs.  The staff at Special Olympics can provide ideas and some assistance with your event.
