2020 State Fall Games – October 9 & 10 in Valdosta, GA!

Special Olympics Georgia is very excited that the 2021 State Fall Games in Valdosta, GA on October 8 & 9! Come out and enjoy the excitement in Bocce, Softball and Golf competition during the weekend! More than 1200 Athletes, Coaches and Unified Partners from around the State will come to Valdosta’s Freedom Park to compete in exciting competition. Atlanta Hawks Youth Basketball Classic

Come join Georgia’s largest Youth Basketball Tournament on February 22nd, 2020! There will be a Special Olympics Division for all athletes competing in Basketball, hosted by the Atlanta Hawks at LakePoint Sports Complex. All questions please email Danielle Hogan

2018 State Fall Games & State Horse Show, October 19-21, Gainesville, GA

Please join Special Olympics Georgia and more than 2,400 Athletes, Coaches and Unified Partners for two State Events in Gainesville, Georgia! The State Fall Games and State Horse Show will be on October 19-21 at various venues in Gainesville.

Fall Games: Softball & Bocce at North Hall Park, Softball & Cycling at Laurel Park and Golf at Chateau Elan Golf Club.

Horse Show: All events at Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center

Publix Super Markets Torch Icon Sales

Publix Super Markets and Special Olympics have teamed up once again for Torch Icon Register Sales in the month of January. From January 4th to January 20th 2018, visit your local Publix store and ask for a Torch Icon at the check out register to make a small donation to Special Olympics Georgia. Each donor will receive a coupon page for P&G brand products across the store. Donations received will allow Special Olympics Georgia to continue to provide free sports training and competition for 27,115 athletes across Georgia.

Jumpstreet Indoor Trampoline Park will be selling tickets and registering all participants that MENTION Special Olympics Georgia for a discounted price of $17 between 1-3 PM. Participants will be able to bounce until 5 PM. All attendees must mention Special Olympics Georgia in order to get the discounted price.

2017 State Indoor Winter Games, January 20-22, 2017

Special Olympics Georgia will host the 2017 State Indoor Winter Games on January 20-22, 2017.

Come join the 2800 athletes, coaches, and unified partners in Cobb County as they compete in basketball, bowling, floor hockey, artistic gymnastics, and powerlifting!

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Friday, January 20th at the Cobb Civic Center at 7:30pm and is open to the public.

Duck Pluck 2016 – August 12, 1:00 pm

All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Georgia, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
