Thousands will try their luck, and hope that their duck gets plucked! Volunteers are needed at Post Chastain Apartments to help with the plucking, and help scoop those ducks out of the water after the event. All volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer.

September 8th, 2017                          CLAY SHOOT, GARLAND MOUNTAIN, WALESKA

Our annual Clay Shoot will be held at Garland Mountain in Waleska GA this Fall. Volunteers will be able to help with registration and run stations for this fun event. All volunteers must be 18 or older.

October 13-15, 2017                          STATE FALL GAMES, GAINESVILLE

The State Fall Games will have its 3rd year in Gainesville this October. Over 1,500 SOGA athletes compete in bocce, cycling, golf and softball. To apply please visit: and click on 2017 Fall Games.

October 13-15, 2017                          STATE HORSE SHOW, GAINESVILLE

The same weekend as Fall Games, we also have our State Horse Show. Over 200 athletes compete in different equestrian competitions. SOGA will once again proudly host the annual Bob Busse Golf Tournament, held at Ansley Golf Club at Settindown Creek. Volunteers must be 21 or older to volunteer.
