Volunteer Registration
HOW TO BECOME A REGISTERED SPECIAL OLYMPICS GEORGIA VOLUNTEER
All volunteers must register and be authorized by Special Olympics Georgia. This policy is intended to ensure the safety and well-being or our athletes and volunteers at every level of the organization.
It is Special Olympics Georgia policy that volunteers are screened through Special Olympics Georgia. Anyone who wishes to volunteer as a class A volunteer – coaches, unified partners, drivers, chaperones, GMT/committee members, local/area management team members, nurses – must complete the Volunteer Profile Form which can be submitted online by CLICKING HERE
You can also download the profile form by CLICKING HERE if you prefer to submit your form in person or by mail.
ALL information on the profile form (including your birthdate and social security number) must be filled out COMPLETELY. Incomplete forms will not be processed and you will not be a registered volunteer.
General volunteers (day only event volunteers) can also register for a particular event by filling out the event’s online volunteer application. Please CLICK HERE **Day only event applications are not to be filled out by coaches, assistant coaches, unified partners, drivers, chaperones, GMT/committee members, local/area management team members, or nurses**
PROTECTIVE BEHAVIORS
