12th Annual Sailing Regatta
by SOGA12th Annual Sailing Regatta Supported by: Southern Sailing Club September 14-16, 2012 Lake Lanier at Sunrise Cove
Each year, Special Olympics Georgia is fortunate to partner with the Southern Sailing Club to host our annual Open Sailing Regatta. The regatta will feature a Sponsor Boat for race viewing, a Skipper Reception on Saturday night, door prizes and much more.
Join the Fun! In order to enter the regatta, each skipper must raise a minimum of $250 through sponsorship pledges or personal donations. *Don’t forget, the sailing club that raises the most money wins the annual trophy and bragging rights for a year! R-Word Rally 2012
by SOGACOME JOIN US FOR R-WORD DAY 2012!! We’ll be pledging to eliminate the use of the word “retard(ed)” at the Atlanta Braves game on April 30, 2012. Come out and pledge to eliminate the r-word from your vocabulary and get to meet some of our Special Olympics GA athletes as well as some surprise visits from several Atlanta Braves themselves!

Change for Champions
by SOGAChange for Champions is running throughout the month of March!! Hurray!! This is a great fundraiser and it’s easy too. Just contact Addison Sanford at addison.sanford@specialolympicsga.org or call him at 770-414-9390 ext. 108. He will get the materials you need.
Here’s how it works:
Addison will send you the requested materials (change cans, posters, flyers, etc.). You put them out at schools, banks, grocery stores, or anywhere you can think of and watch the change start rolling in.
